Jakarta – Presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto, congratulated the success of the Indonesian national football team in reaching the round of 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup.
This was conveyed by Prabowo when attending an open campaign with the theme “Suara Muda Indonesia untuk Prabowo-Gibran” at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on Saturday (27/1).
Indonesia, continued Prabowo, for the first time in many years, managed to make history by securing a spot in the round of 16 in the 2023 Asian Cup.
“And for the first time in many years, Indonesia is in the top 16 of the Asian Cup,” said Prabowo.
He also invited the public to continue supporting the Indonesian national team players. Moreover, the next match will be against Australia. “If I’m not mistaken, tomorrow they will compete against Australia. We pray that we will make a surprise. But whatever happens, we support our national team,” he said.
