Dressed in a brown safari suit and black peci, Prabowo arrived at the airbase in the afternoon and was sent off by high-ranking officials for his official state visit. Accompanying him were Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and other important figures from both Indonesia and Saudi Arabia.

Before boarding the presidential aircraft, President Prabowo, along with Defense Minister Sjafrie, observed military cadets rehearsing a marching band performance. The primary objective of his visit to Saudi Arabia is to enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly in relation to the organization of the Hajj pilgrimage and exploring potential strategic partnerships. The visit is intended to strengthen the ties between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, promoting mutual understanding and collaboration for the mutual benefit of both nations.
