UMKM Expo (RT) Brilianpreneur 2023 Mencapai Komitmen Pendapatan Rp 1,26 Triliun

UMKM EXPO(RT) BRILIANPRENEUR resmi ditutup pada Minggu (10/12) dan mencatatkan nilai penjualan business matching senilai USD 81,3 juta dollar atau sekitar Rp 1,26 triliun (kurs Rp 15.500).

Direktur Utama BRI, Sunarso mengatakan, event yang merupakan bagian dari rangkaian kegiatan HUT ke-128 BRI ini telah diselenggarakan pada 7-10 Desember 2023 di Jakarta Convention Centre (JCC) dan berhasil mencatatkan jumlah pengunjung yang hadir secara on-site di JCC ada sebanyak lebih dari 18 ribu.

“Bukan hanya dari sisi jumlah pengunjung saja, melalui kegiatan ini, telah dilakukan sebanyak 243 business matching dan mencetak commitment deal senilai USD 81,3 Juta (dari target USD 80 Juta). Business matching tersebut dilakukan oleh 86 buyers yang berasal dari 30 negara (dari target 80 buyers dari 25 negara), di antaranya dari Australia, Canada, Taiwan, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, dan UAE atau Uni Emirat Arab bersama dengan 85 peserta UMKM,” ungkap Sunarso dalam keterangan resmi, Senin (11/12/2023).

Nilai kesepakatan melalui business matching tersebut terus bertambah dari tahun ke tahun penyelenggaraan event ini. Seperti diketahui pada 2019 nilai business matching mencapai sebesar US$ 33,5 juta, naik pada 2020 menjadi US$ 57,5 juta dan pada 2021 kembali meningkat menjadi US$ 72,1 juta. Kemudian pada 2022 lalu nilainya menembus US$ 76,7 juta.

Selain itu, sampai dengan hari ke-3 UMKM EXPO(RT) BRILIANPRENEUR, tercatat total nilai transaksi yang dilakukan mencapai Rp 8,7 miliar. Transaksi tersebut merupakan transaksi baik yang dilakukan oleh pengunjung Expo secara langsung melalui EDC dan QRIS maupun transaksi online yang dilakukan melalui e-commerce yang telah bekerja sama dengan BRI.

BRI sangat optimis dapat mencapai target nilai transaksi sebesar Rp 20 miliar, didorong oleh program transaksi online e-commerce yang masih akan berlangsung sampai dengan 31 Desember 2023. Sementara itu, jumlah transaksi sampai dengan hari ke-3 sendiri tercatat sebanyak 46,3 ribu transaksi.

Sunarso mencontohkan success story salah satu peserta di UMKM EXPO(RT) BRILIANPRENEUR 2023, yaitu Arva Indonesia dengan usaha Keripik Tempe. Pada hari Sabtu (9/12), telah melakukan signing ceremony dengan pihak buyer Tanivest yang berasal dari Singapore dengan nilai SGD2 juta untuk memenuhi kebutuhan 30 stores di Singapore.

Dengan berakhirnya seluruh rangkaian acara tersebut, Sunarso mengucapkan terima kasih kepada seluruh pihak yang telah mendukung kesuksesan acara.
“I hope to give a positive and broad impact on the progress, as well as the capacity development of the quality of UMKM in Indonesia,” concluded Sunarso.

Meanwhile, BRI’s initiative in holding this event to encourage UMKM players to go global has received appreciation from President Joko Widodo. The President conveyed that UMKM must be able to dominate the local market but not forget the global market.
“61% of the national GDP is contributed by UMKM and 97% of the workforce in Indonesia is absorbed by UMKM. Therefore, I appreciate and appreciate this event, because the products shown are very well curated. Packaging and branding and most importantly BRI brings together MSMEs with buyers,” added the President when opening the UMKM EXPO (RT) BRILIANPRENEUR event some time ago.

Minister of BUMN Erick Thohir appreciated the various programs that have been implemented by BRI, including empowerment programs such as UMKM EXPO (RT) BRILIANPRENEUR 2023 which has been successful in turning the overall economy.

“UMKM is a priority for national economic growth, and BRI as the bank with the largest UMKM portfolio is expected to continue to create an ecosystem for UMKM players with the main goal of economic growth,” said Erick.

Appreciation for BRI also comes from UMKM players who participated in the UMKM EXPO (RT) BRILIANPRENEUR 2023 event. Met at the event, Nugroho (owner of Pancal Bike UMKM) expressed his impressions of being a BRILIANPRENEUR participant. According to him, one of the flagship UMKM empowerment programs from BRI encourages participants to gain more experience in opening a broader market by meeting new potential consumers.

“By participating in this event, our promotions increase. The high-quality UMKM products are lifted, more widely known. This expands the market,” said Nugroho, who admitted to having participated in the BRILIANPRENEUR event for two consecutive years.

In line with that, Nicoles Natural, Cathy Alexandra, who participated in this event, also gave positive impressions regarding the event. He also assessed BRI’s support through events such as UMKM EXPO (RT) BRILIANPRENEUR will increase the scale of their business. In this year’s exhibition, not only retail consumers visit Nicoles Natural’s booth, but also large party consumers.

“Not only B2C, but there are also many B2B. They buy large parties for cafes or restaurants. Some also invite to combine with their products,” said Cathy.

“Our hope is that we can develop the market. BRI is also focused on driving exports, so maybe it can attract many more buyers from abroad. We are also very happy if BRI can help support the development of our market in South Korea,” Cathy added.

The UMKM EXPO (RT) BRILIANPRENEUR event itself was held by BRI as a business matching facility between Indonesian MSMEs and foreign consumers, so it is expected to be able to develop global UMKM players and increase national exports.
UMKM EXPO (RT) BRILIANPRENEUR 2023 carries the theme “Crafting Global Connection” or assembling global connections. In UMKM EXPO (RT) BRILIANPRENEUR 2023, BRI invited 700 curated UMKMs and there are five categories of UMKM EXPO (RT) BRILIANPRENEUR this year that can participate, namely Home Decor & Craft, Food & Beverage, Accessories & Beauty, and Fashion & Wastra, as well as Healthcare/Wellness.
