President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, recently received heartfelt letters from junior and senior high school students at Sekolah Rakyat (People’s School) in Cibinong, West Java. The President personally took time to read these letters in his office, as shared through the official Instagram account of the Cabinet Secretariat. The post included photos of President Prabowo engrossed in the letters and a handwritten note from one of the students.
One student, Erni Andayani, poured her emotions into a letter expressing deep gratitude to President Prabowo for establishing Sekolah Rakyat. This new school has provided her and other students with access to quality education, igniting their aspirations. Erni’s heartfelt words conveyed appreciation for the opportunities now available to pursue their dreams in a supportive environment.
Sekolah Rakyat was launched for the 2025–2026 academic year under the management of the Ministry of Social Affairs. This school aims to support children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and currently operates in 63 locations across Indonesia, including Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The impact of Sekolah Rakyat highlights President Prabowo’s commitment to providing equal education opportunities for all students, particularly those facing economic challenges.
